In recent years, a tension more likely happened than understanding culture which is affected by international tourism as the world's largest industry. This essay definitely disagrees with the notion because international tourism can make people more open-minded and business units need it as a part of business relationship.
The cultural exchange will lead people to be more open-minded. Every country has its own culture, which is extremely different with another. Some people think that other culture is unique, therefore, local people and tourist will interact each other. By the time, they will realize that there is an advantage from cultural understanding. For example, Foreigner tend to be discipline about time. They think that time is like a sword. If someone wastes it, the sword will kill him as well as time. In the contrast, Indonesians think that not being on time is a common. So, Indonesian try to adopt the culture for their own good.
In Globalization era, every country has to make business not only in internal scope but also in external scope, which means international business. Interaction between local people and foreign people will lead to understanding each other as well as the people will give information that they need. The individual need will give a chance of business sector for either local people or foreign people in the end, a mutual relationship in business will be reached. Example: Jack ma, founder of Alibaba, found his business when he was a tour guide. As a tour guide, he got a new idea to make a business whose the idea comes from a foreigner’s need.
In conclusion, international tourism is the right choice to make understanding culture. Because it can make people more open-minded and also scale up the business relationship
